New Year...what's new?

I don't think my outlook on the new year is pessimistic. I think it is realistic...or perhaps more mature. This doesn't feel like the new year. It feels like just another day in my life, because it is. I don't make resolutions...it's silly. Goals should not be forced upon one day. Goals come when they need to come. I make them everyday.

I think this year is going to be like every other year....with the same kind of drama, and the same kind of emotions...just different situations, and with more experience and maturity than before.

That's how life is, though, isn't it? It's just a series of days and moments....where you continue knowing more than you did yesterday. The smart ones learn and work towards becoming themselves. The silly ones continue ignoring themselves and attempt to become something else, someone else.

I'm happy I fit with the first group.
